Anyone familiar with driving to Cornwall will have seen the “Nearly there” trees. 

The small group of 140 beech trees is found on a hill on the A30 near Lifton and marks the border between Cornwall and Devon. They have inspired many works of art over the years.

Here they have been made in enamel on a copper base and set on the hill behind a little cottage.
